Child-Proof Door Locks for the Home
Children’s safety is most parents great concern when they are little and ease up as they gain more life’s experiences. For little ones growing up around the home in their early years it’s important to protect your kids from getting into dangerous scenarios and areas. Sometimes we also just want them to stay out of different places like the home office or even the refrigerator. In this post we are going to talk about three different kinds of locks we use to keep the kids out of where they’re not supposed to be.
Cabinet and drawer locks – There are a few different types of cabinet/ drawer locks on the market but our favorite are these magnetic locks that are easy to install and work great for most cabinets and drawers.

Door Knob Covers- these are great if you have door knobs on your doors. These locks just clamp over your non-locking door knobs and work by pressing the tabs in to grip the knob when you want to open the door. They are great for keeping your kids in their room for napping and sleeping or even keeping them out of the bathroom or office room. They are easy to remove if you have a flat head screwdriver. Refrigerator Door lock – Our kids love to open the fridge and browse around for their favorite foods. Many times after they find what they want they leave a big mess around and leave the doors wide open letting all that cold air out. This door lock will keep those doors locked and the kids out. To install the lock just open up the doors, lay down the adhesive plate and stick the plastic post in its spot and lock it up. Just make sure you read the instructions right or you may end up paying double for another. This door lock is great for fridges for two or more doors that open from the middle.
